About this Premium Direct-Trade coffee
In early 2021 Valeri made contact with Ismael Andrade & his son Romulo with the intention of buying their coffee direct trade and paying a higher premium for quality coffee from their Sao Silvestre estate as part Mikro commitment to Premium quality coffee and helping financially support our partner producers to do what they do best, grow amazing coffee and live a happier lives.
Sao Silvestre estate is a multi award winning coffee estate and Ismael personally helped setup and establish Brazil Specialty Coffee association to improve overall Brazil coffee quality and help educate fellow farmers to grow and process Specialty Coffee and attract higher premiums for their hard work.
After David from FTA coffee made the introduction and imported some of Ismael's coffee we fell in love with it and secured a full year supply of Ismael's coffee. We paid Ismael Extra Premium for the coffee quality directly to his bank account with the intention of building and growing our relationship and helping Ismael and his son Romulo achieve higher premiums per kg of coffee we purchase and roast for you moving forwards.
Since starting to work with Ismael we have shared some of his own coffee roasted by us at Mikro with him and Romulo to enjoy, its not often Ismael gets to enjoy his own coffee roasted overseas and packaged ready for customers enjoyment.
Please keep in mind that by buying this single origin Brazil coffee you are directly supporting the Andrade family and all their workers of Sao Silvestre estate. We know the price of this coffee is slightly higher than usual and the reason is directly linked to premium quality and higher prices we commit to pay Ismael and Romulo.
