This online Interactive home barista course is aimed at Home Espresso Machines & helping you extract the Perfect coffee on your home espresso machine.

Learn to brew coffee at home like a pro with Mikro!

Let our expert baristas come straight to your kitchen or home office (virtually) in an online interactive format and teach you the secrets and brew recipes we use in our brew bar to make mind-blowing coffee.

To make the most of our Home barista course please make sure that you order your freshly roasted coffee from us online before the class so we can help you achieve the best results possible! We recommend buying at least 1 or 2 Kgs of coffee for home espresso machines to ensure you have enough coffee for the dialing in process of your home grinder and your home machine.

What you need to have at home for this class:

  • Home Espresso Machine in good working order
  • Kitchen scales that allow you to weigh coffee by the gram
  • Mikro Coffee at least 1 or 2 kgs
  • Fresh milk if you want to learn how to texture milk for milk coffees
  • Coffee grinder or at least hand grinder
  • If you are using pre ground coffee that is also ok but not recommended

In fact we go further than and contribute 2% of our total company turnover to help drive real and purposeful change in Australia.

In other words, if our small business Mikro Coffee Roasters does not make a net profit for the financial year, we are still making a large contribution to worthy causes to help create positive social and environmental impact regardless of how profitable our company is.

As of 2022-2023 financial year Mikro Coffee Roasters is commited to ensure that 2% of our annual sales from all activities including our 1% for the planet membership commitment are contributed to registered charitable organizations to help make a real and meaningful impact to social and environmental causes.

Our commitment as a company is to contribute 2% of our total sales annually.

Each quarter we consult with our team members as well as our customers to decide which causes should take priority for our contributions and donations and distribute our funds and product accordingly.
