Back by popular demand!

Max's Half Caff is a combination of our Swiss water-processed decaf and our premium single-origin beans, giving you a delicious, full-flavour blend with half the caffeine content.

The perfect afternoon pick-me-up!

Our Brazilian Decaf is Swiss Water washed to naturally decaffeinate the coffee without using any potentially harmful chemicals.

The Story behind Max's Half Caff

So one fine day Max was hanging out at the roastery with our crew.

We were a bit short that day and Max decided he would volunteer to give us a hand to blend some coffee.

All was going well until he came up to Juwon, our head roaster with a blank and worried look on his face!

All he said was, "I think I made a big mistake".

After Juwon checked out what he has done he worked out that Max accidentally blended decaf with Ethiopian coffee.

Ooops.

All 40kg of it! 😱

When he learned about his mistake he asked, "I'm I going to be sanctioned?" 😂

So, the Half Caff was born and it actually tasted GOOD so we decided to try and sell it.

A few weeks later we were totally sold out and due to the popular demand for this coffee we decided to roast it again, this time on purpose!

The idea behind half caff is that it is the perfect afternoon brew if you don't want too much caffeine hit but want the flavour you love, or if you are trying to cut back caffeine this is the perfect blend for you to try.
